"Like many of the other reviewers I was disappointed in the quality of the binding and paper. My book was over glued. I have a thing for butterflies so pretty much any butterfly book at least gets looked at if not purchased. Oddly there was one included that looked like an incomplete drawing. As if the artist had done the drawing in pencil but not finished it in ink and cleaned it up. Although there really wasn't a picture I didn't like at all. I don't like coloring directly in the book so I always take my books apart before coloring and the over gluing made that difficult. I really prefer books that have perferrated pages. Because the paper wasn't that great either, I ended up scanning and printing them on a heavier paper because of them them I had plans to use the finished pages."

- I am happy with the designs in this book. But I do not like the poor quality on some of the drawings. Some look sketched, not solid lines (my 3rd photo shows an example of this) But what bothers me more is that some of the designs are cut off on the right side of the page (on all of my photos) The priceon the book says $12, but for this reduced price I am going to keep it. I will still enjoy coloring these designs.
- I bought this book based on the cover image and was somewhat disappointed. I felt the quality of the book really varied. Not all pictures are as detailed as the one on the cover (which is, of course, the nicest one in the book by far) - and many images seemed simplistic and more suited to an older child than an adult. Others, while detailed, were more like realistic sketches of butterflies and flowers that you color in - which is not what I was looking for. I was hoping for stronger defined areas to fill in and not just a moth-lke pencil sketch to color where the entire wing is one open area. I also agree with the reviewer who said that some of the images are cut off on the right side. One image was even poorly defined and blurry and I was surprised that it would be included in the book in that condition. But...when all is said and done there are enough nice images (30) to make the book somewhat worth while gven the reduced price. I easier images are nice for nights when I don't feel like using a lot of effort to color small detailed areas or when I don't have a lot of time. In the end, I decided to use this more as a practice book to play around with colors, shading and technique.
- I bought this for my 88 year old Mother only to learn the night before I am to give it to her that the binding is defective. Paper is poor quality as well. Major Disappointment.
- I bought this based on the front and back cover as inside pictures were not available. Now I know why. The pictures inside are not ANYTHING like it portrays from the front and back covers. WHAT A RIP OFF. I would NEVER have bought this if I had been able to see the inside so clearly not even the same type as the outside. How deceptive. If I could give this negative stars, I would. I will watch for this charlatins name and NEVER buy their product again.
- I'm in between 3 and 4 stars here. I colored the first page which took me 2 days. Some of the flowers don't make sense if you look closely. I was frustrated and at a loss due to the design and some of the designs don't follow through and incomplete and some begin out of nowhere and just doesn't make sense but I did what I could. Others were right with the designs being cut right off the pages and coloring near those areas caused my pages to curl inward. This is my first time coloring in an adult coloring book using prisma premiers/verithins, also for the first time. I wasn't happy with the way the prisma was performing but I will keep trying to work with them. I did press hard in the beginning. I purchased a lot of adult coloring books to compare them all and will update my thoughts later. The lower left flower I used studio series colored pencils and they truly suck so I tried to go over them with my prisma but it just looks hideous. Certain areas I layered over and created wax build up which also turned out awful. I'm not happy with the finished results, maybe I will take a stab at using oil pencils soon. This book only has a few desired pages but the rest has some kiddish looks. The page I colored was the most detailed page out of the whole book. Wish there were more realistic pictures but that's what greyscale is for.

- Love the picture for coloring, but I'm just curious; How has no one that butterflies is misspelled on the cover?
- I ordered this coloring book due to the usual complexity with coloring butterflies. The pictures are beautiful and have the complexity I was looking for, however, some of the pictures leave a lot of white space. I prefer to have the entire page colored and feel like some of the pictures are wasting space. The pictures are single sided which is good if you are using gel pens to color with. I wish there were more pages and that the entire page was used for the pictures but overall this is a nice coloring book and I have already begun to use it.
